If you have ever wandered around Capitol Hill, you may have wandered into this little jem of an ice cream shop. Lick Pure Creamery, is a decadent ice cream shop located within Zaw Pizza on East Pine Street.
After you walk in, you’ll be met by the friendly owner and are invited to sample a few of the delicious flavors. The flavors change frequently and you’ll find some of the most unique combinations around. Lick opened up this past summer and in only a short time, has gained a loyal following.

“Holy cow – this place is amazing! First off, it is located just in side zaw pizza. There aren’t as many signs as the more established places have. As soon as you walk in, you are greeted by the owner. He has a plethora of spoons all ready for you to get to tasting. We tried a beet ice cream (yes, you read that right) pina colada ice cream, red ginger, M2, Caramel apple, and several more. There wasn’t a single flavor that I didn’t like.
Go here, sample lots of flavors, and get a couple scoops. You’ll be glad you did!”
