Stitches – Knitting Supplies On Capitol Hill

During the colder months, we love sitting next to a warm fire, drinking hot chocolate, and crafting away! From sewing projects to oil painting, Capitol Hill is full of resources to help you take that next idea to reality.

Stitches provides fashion fabric, notions, and yarn to designers, home sewers, and creative people throughout the Puget Sound area. We are not your typical fabric store. Our focus is on interesting and new products and an atmosphere to reflect that attitude.

What Are Locals Saying?

This was my second time coming here, and it was just as exciting the second time around as the first! I sew, so I was in it for the fabric and notions selection, and it’s really one of the best I’ve seen. It blows my mind how you can go to Joann Fabrics, with its aisles and aisles of bolts of fabric and find a whole bunch of cheap feeling materials and nothing you really love. Then you go to Stitches, which is a small store, but every single bolt of fabric is clearly carefully chosen and pretty seriously awesome.

Most of the basic cottons are priced around the $10/yd range, which by my standards is a very reasonable price and pretty competitive with what I would pay somewhere like Joann or online, so all the more reason I will go here every time I’m in Seattle 🙂 Via Julia M.

Have you been? What craft projects are you working on right now?
